Inportant Information

To be eligible to apply for a bus hire subsidy applicants must read and agree to the following eligibility criteria:

  • The subsidy is only available to not-for-profit groups based in the City of Cockburn or servicing a significant number of Cockburn residents.
  • Applicants may apply for 50% of the overall bus hire charge to a maximum of $100 per trip.
  • One bus hire per month is eligible for a subsidy.
  • The maximum bus hire subsidy per financial year is $500. 
  • Reimbursement of funds will be made once the applicant has provided a receipt from the bus service, which must be within one month of bus hire. 
  • The bus hire subsidy is available for the hire charge only.
  • The bus hire subsidy does not apply to the hire of City of Cockburn buses or buses owned by the applicant.
  • Funds will be reimbursed by direct deposit into your nominated bank account.
