Senior's Security Rebate FY2026/2027

This round will open at 8:00AM 1 July 2026 (AWST) for submissions.

Applications for the Seniors Security Rebate are open from 1 July to 31 May each year, unless allocated funds are depleted before the closing date. 

 

Before you submit your application

To qualify for the Seniors Security Rebate, you need to comply with the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid Pensioner Concession Card or Seniors Card
  • Your residential home is in Cockburn
  • Be the property owner, an agent authorised to act on their behalf, or a tenant with signed consent from one of these persons.
  • Use a licenced security installer to supply and install the works.
  • Battery-powered video doorbells may be self-installed. Where connection to mains power is required, installation must be undertaken by a licensed electrical contractor.

Before submitting your application please make sure you have:

  • Paid the service provider in full
  • Obtained an itemised receipt from the service provider
  • Attached the itemised invoice and receipt to your application
